Variable Angel Peel Testing TJ 123

Peel fixtures are suitable for testing the peel strength of a wide range of laminated materials and components including copper runners on printed circuit boards, thin film coatings, adhesive tapes and other bonded structures.

Principle Of Operation :
The fixtures incorporate a moving table, which is coupled to the crosshead or actuator of the materials testing machine through a cable and pulley. As the crosshead (or actuator) is fake watches driven in the tensile direction the cable pulls the table laterally to maintain the required peel angle throughout the test. This method prevents the exertion of outside forces on the sample. The force required to peel the specimen is replique montre measured by the machine load measurement system providing a direct measure of bond strength. The substrate replica watches uk or base of the test sample is clamped to the moving table via a set of clamps.

Application Range :

  • Copper runners on printed circuit boards
  • Thin films and coatings
  • Adhesive tapes and packaging
  • Stickers, labels etc
There are three different types available

A) Variable Angle Peel Fixture:

Peel angles Settable at: 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135 or 150 degrees.

Maximum operating temperature: 60°C (140°F).

The variable angle peel fixture is designed for determining the bond and peel strength of microelectronics components like copper runners, films, tapes etc. when replica watches peeled from circuit board, substrates or components. Through the use of a special linkage system, the peel angle is maintained constant during the test. The substrate or component is clamped to the rolex replica watches table of the fixture via an “up-down” clamping system. The moving table is then attached to the actuator or crosshead of the test system. The motion of the actuator or crosshead creates movement on the clamp base but only peel forces are sensed and recorded.

B) 90-Degree Peel Fixture :

Peel Stroke: 180 mm.
Maximum Specimen Width: 70 mm.

Suitable for peel testing of microelectronics components like copper runners, thin films, tapes, etc. in a circuit board, substrate or component. The substrate or base is clamped via a set of top-down clamps. The fixture is coupled to the moving actuator or crosshead of the test system to ensure a 90-degree peel angle throughout the test.

c) 180-Degree Peel Fixture:

Peel Stroke: 180 mm.
Maximum Specimen Width: 70 mm.
Suitable for peel testing of microelectronics components like copper runners, thin films, tapes, etc. in a circuit board, substrate or component. The substrate or base is clamped via a set of top-down clamps. The fixture is coupled to the moving actuator or crosshead of the test system to ensure a 90-degree peel angle throughout the test.
